In Cologne, René Tillmanns is probably better known by the name Flimmy. He’s been working as a DJ, entertainer, presenter and bingo caller in the city for more than ten years and recently moved to the Klettenberg district in the southwest of Cologne, which he fell in love with straight off.
For our “Discovering Cologne with…” mini-series, Flimmy takes us to the idyllic Klettenbergpark, where he sometimes goes to take a break from city life. At the weekends, though, you’ll find him on Aachener Straße, where he likes to party through the night in one of the many clubs. We finish with a goodbye drink at Rosebud, where Flimmy tells us why the bar is one of his top favourite places in his neighbourhood.
